Week 4 - The pitch and audience research

The Film Pitch



Hopefully you've all been working hard on your coursework planning over half term ;)

This week is about finalising your film and talking through the concept and appeal to audiences.  This week will also involve you carrying out a range of other important research, including:

• Audience questionnaires (online surveys, focus groups and THE PITCH)
• Age rating - also linked to audiences (and regulation - you will need to look at the BBFC guidelines to think about age ratings content of your film)

 There is also a student version called www.sbbfc.co.uk which has case studies and resources for you.

Next week we will be examining planning and research material and talking about assessment and evaluating a range of work.  You will all be given provisional grades by next Monday with targets to aim for both individually and as a group.
